What counts as a source

Tax authorities, finance ministries, official gazettes and the law itself; the OECD and the World Bank for international data. Blogs from advisers and insurers are read to learn what people ask, never as the source of a figure.

How a figure reaches a page

Rates and thresholds live in each country’s calculation file with its sources, and the pages read from it. Tests check the calculation on worked cases, and the site does not build if one fails.

Independence

Radif Partners takes nothing from advisers, banks, insurers, citizenship programmes or governments, and no country pays to appear or to rank.

Review and corrections

The site is reviewed at least every 12 months and when a budget changes a rate. Report errors through the contact page; the calculations are set out on the method page.
